Leaking a Wiki

November 30, 2010

Over the weekend, Wikileaks, the whistleblower website, released over 250,000 US cables sent by diplomats stationed around the world. Not surprisingly, the US has condemned the release of these cables.

Today, Amy Goodman spoke with Noam Chomsky about the Wikileaks release. Let’s listen in on their conversation here and find out what Professor Chomsky has to say about it.

i think they are already doing that by proxy through interpol regarding that allegations he raped a woman in sweden. there’s an arrest warrant for him even though the charges were going to be dropped.

thank you so much for the comment and the link to your post. as far as i know, julian assange has not been arrested yet. sweden issued a warrant for him to go back there to answer questions about his sexual encounter with two women. i heard that it has to do with his not using a condom. i read that the british police know where he is in britain but will not arrest him until sweden produces a reason for his warrant.
