Cinco de Mayo is a day most Mexicans observe publicly to commemorate Mexico’s victory over France at the Battle of Puebla. In the United States, many people of Mexican heritage celebrate Mexican customs on this day through food, drink, music and customs.

This year’s celebrations in Arizona will probably be dampened slightly unless a certain bill that Gov. Jan Brewer signed is found unconstitutional.

Los Suns aka the Phoenix Suns are representing tonight in their playoff game in protest, but be careful next year Steve Nash. If the bill is not successfully challenged and the police find “reasonable suspicion” about your legal status or are dissatisfied with your points/assists output, you may be heading back to Canada!
